Loic Bruni is a professional downhill mountain biker from France who is widely considered to be one of the best riders in the world. Known for his lightning-fast speeds, technical skills, and fearless approach to the sport, Bruni has become a dominant force in downhill racing since making his debut in 2012.

Born in Cannes, France in 1994, Bruni grew up in a family of passionate mountain bikers and began racing at a young age. He quickly developed a talent for the sport and began to make a name for himself on the international circuit, winning his first Junior World Championship in 2012.

Since then, Bruni has become a consistent contender for the top spot in every race he enters. He has won three Elite Men’s World Championships, in 2015, 2017, and 2018, and has also won numerous other races and podium finishes throughout his career.

Off the bike, Bruni is known for his laid-back and friendly personality, and is a fan favorite among mountain bike enthusiasts around the world. He is deeply passionate about the sport and is dedicated to pushing the limits of what is possible in downhill racing.

 

I first met Loic way back in 2015 and we have been friends ever since, but haven never managed to make our paths cross. We were both in Barcelona this week and knew we needed to make the podcast happen. This is one half interview with Super Bruni, and one half catch up between two old friends! I hope you enjoy.
