There’s been a ton of content that I have wanted to make for the last couple of years, but I have always been hesitant to put it out on YouTube because the algorithm. With ad money dominating all of the content platforms, profitable channels all often follow a very similar formula, which means content that becomes shaped by the industry of ads. 

With YouTube being our top money maker, it has slowly molded the kind of content that we have posted but by trying to build our own platform with legitimate members, we will be able to have more freedom and control to produce the content we have always dreamed of making. The revenue created through the member site will be going directly into making, and posting, the content that we have always wanted to make. In 2023 we are building our studio in Dubai to further expand our motorsports horizons, working on attending key events in both Motocross and Supercross and then bringing our whole crew to race the World Vets at the end of the year. And MID2K finally happens…

As far as the content on the platform goes, we will be posting more clips from the podcast that won’t be going on YouTube. Clips that we feel speak more to the tight community we have, and this has been based off conversations over time with you guys in one way or another. 

On the membership site we will be creating a Gypsy Gang Book Club that will help answer a lot of the questions I get about certain books and reading. One of the things I love doing is talking about reading / books but I never know how hard to go into it on the podcast, so having a dedicated place to do this with people who actually want that information with be a good thing. The same thing goes for Solo podcasts and Q & A’s. I get asked to do them all the time but it never feels on brand to do them and I don’t nessesarily want to broadcast them out to the entire YouTube world. With the member site it feels like a much better place to do any solo podcasts or Q&A’s.

As well as this, there will be the ‘Gypsy Feed’ which will be a more personal feed that gives you a more Behind the Scenes look into the Gypsy Tales world. Plus the member site will be the home of our feature content. This is the first place you will be able to see projects like  our epic journey to Cape York in late 2022, travel vlogs as well as our upcoming bike builds. As well as some content we shot in 2022, this coming year should also see more podcasts with even more great guests in new studios and hopefully see some bucket list trips be documented like we have never been able to before.

But with that being said… Almost all of our content is going to remain completely free and unchanged on all of our current platforms. If the membership to the new platform is not for you, then very little about how you currently experience our content is going to change.
