Gypsy Tales LLC · Effective 20 October 2026
1. Summary
Gypsy Tales LLC operates gypsy-tales.com and the Gypsy Tales podcast and social channels. We collect very little, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not run advertising trackers of our own on this site.
2. What we collect from this website
If you email us or fill in a form, we receive what you send: your name, your email address, and your message. We keep it so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address of visitors, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not store payment details, because we do not take payments on this site.
3. Our use of the Meta Platform
We operate an application registered with Meta, named Gypsy-Tales-V2, which we use to read statistics about our own Facebook Page and our own Instagram account, and to publish our own content to them. Specifically, that application accesses: the follower and view counts of our own accounts, the performance figures for posts and reels we published ourselves, comments left on our own posts, and messages sent to our own accounts.
The application is used only by Gypsy Tales LLC, for Gypsy Tales LLC's own accounts. It does not access the Facebook or Instagram data of any other business or page. It does not read anything about you as an individual beyond what you have chosen to make public by interacting with our posts, and it is not used to build profiles of our followers or to target advertising.
Information retrieved this way is used to understand how our content performs and to report that performance to our commercial partners in aggregate — for example "this reel was viewed 174,190 times". Individual follower identities are not included in those reports.
4. Who we share with
We share information with the service providers who run things on our behalf: our website host, our email provider, our podcast host and our analytics platforms. They act on our instructions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade it.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep things
Correspondence is kept while it is useful and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. Aggregate performance statistics, which identify no individual, we keep indefinitely as a record of how the channel has grown.
6. Your rights, and how to delete your data
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jase@gypsy-tales.com with the request and the email address or account name it concerns, and we will action it and confirm when it is done. There is no charge.
If you have interacted with our Facebook Page or Instagram account and want the information our application holds about that interaction removed, send the same email and say so. Information held by Meta itself, rather than by us, is removed through your own Facebook or Instagram account settings, because it is Meta's copy and not ours.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own on this site. Pages that embed a player or a social post from another platform — YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, a podcast player — may set cookies belonging to that platform when you load them, under that platform's own policy.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information there and elsewhere. By using the site you understand that your information may be handled outside your own country.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it.
